About Maine Results
A third-generation carpenter bringing New England craftsmanship and a meticulous eye for detail to Boise homes, from fine finish work and remodeling to historic restoration.
Meet John R. Wilkins
John R. Wilkins is the founder of Maine Results, Inc. and a third generation carpenter from New England. He has spent nearly four decades working in restoration and repairs, residential housing repair, finish carpentry, and high end trim.
His experience gives him an understanding that very few people in the industry have in restoration details, makeovers of historic homes, and customized additions built to look like they came with the original house.
Today John brings that background to homeowners in Boise and across the Treasure Valley, installing high end trim built to LDS temple quality standards, built ins, cabinetry, door work, remodels, and restorations.
Work That Looks Like It Was Always There
Whether he is adding to an older home or restoring its interior, John's goal is the same: new finishes and custom builds should look as though they were always part of the house. One example is repairing a solid wood door from a home built in the 1930s and returning it to full use.
Another is restoring homes more than 200 years old after fire damage so they looked as though they had never caught fire. John made all the trim to match inside and out, completely customized to each client's needs and descriptions.
What Clients Can Expect
People hire John because of his high quality outcomes. He understands the issue, knows how to solve it, and creates a plan that delivers the client's end result on a budget they are comfortable with. Whether it is a small repair or an entire remodel, clients know right away that he understands their concern.
